Our Mission

Mercy Connections is a community center providing our neighbors with the educational tools and support they need to break the cycle of poverty in their lives.

Sponsored by the Sisters of Mercy, Mercy Connections is a community-based outreach center conveniently located in East Walnut Hills on the 2nd floor of the DeSales Crossings Center at 1602 Madison Rd.

What We Do

Mercy Connections was founded in 1996 to respond to the needs of low income and disadvantaged individuals and families in East Walnut Hills and surrounding neighborhoods.

Our mission flows from our deep belief that when people are empowered, they can achieve great things. Empowerment as opposed to entitlement or as we like to say, “We offer a hand up, not a hand out.”

We partner with clients and students so they learn the skills they need to take responsibility for their own lives. Providing the tools and offering support addresses far more than simply resolving a crisis. Our approach works to prevent future crises -- and -- the skills learned will be passed on to the next generation.
